Organisational Audits

The ECforBE has conducted several research-based audit projects involving large public and private sector organisations. Organisational Audits have been developed to address a number of specific issues, including:

  • determining stakeholders' views and thinking on a particular issue, and their suggestions for improvement
  • establishing current performance and practices compared to written procedures
  • identifying areas for improvement
  • determining the root causes of a particular organisational problem

ECforBE research into the benefits of registration to the ISO 9000/14000 group of standards has already been cited in the press during the first phase of the project.
