Mentoring
The ECforBE is frequently asked to provide mentors to provide managers and leaders with one to one support in specific areas of expertise. The reasons and objectives for each mentoring engagement depend on the individual circumstances, but have included:
- providing senior and middle managers with practical and/or theoretical knowledge about a specific subject area on a one-to-one basis
- providing individual support to managers attending structured development programmes
- providing managers who have completed a structured development programme with follow-on support
